Miki`s Sesame Sushi in Vancouver Island

The food tastes good. Worst customer service ever! We were greeted with ‘oh my God’ when we asked for a table for 6.The restaurant was not even full! They won’t change our pork gyoza with a vegetable gyoza from the dynamite lunch box. These little gesture for people allergetic to pork are always honored! Will never ever go back!

Food was good and fresh the service was great. The views are nice.we ordered a combo for. 4 of us to share. There was plenty of food. Very good.

New to CR, found this place while walking around. Some of the best sushi I've had in a long time. Prices are great so I keep going back.

Had the assorted tempura. 4 delicious prawns with many assorted vegetables. It was very good. The tempura was light and cooked to a light golden crispness.

Always a fantastic environment, friendly staff and great food! reasonable and affordable prices and good portion sizes! I always have to pack some stuff up when i go!

Have gone numerous times, must say everything I have tried has been great, and fresh. The location gives off a very casual vibe, but in the later time of the day, still a very great location for a date or family gathering. Their prices are superb, considering they are ocean front! I try to bring anyone who is visiting from elsewhere to this place, and they always love it.

The food here is so good! We had stopped going to Miki's for awhile because the service was just SO SLOW. Lunch time and 4pm are the best times to come if you want quick service. I haven't been here for dinner for quite some time though, so I don't really know if the service has improved or not.

Better than most sushi places. Their ricevinegar must have less sugar because it's not grossly sweet.Smaller bites would be nice though. Hard to bite them in half

I’ve came to Campbell River twice now and they stop serving 15 minutes before they close which is a bit odd, I found the dining experience nice and quiet outside with a beautiful view, and lunch is definetly the best time to go. The waitress was friendly this time around, mentioned they were short staffed but the place doesn’t get that busy. and I could see that from owners not the servers fault they are short staffed as I was a prior professional server and manager at a five star sushi restaurant I know and had to learn to run a full restaurant alone and did well with it loved it allAboutTime management. the food is excellent I have no complaints what so ever, they could work on the customer service better that is for sure from the staff and maybe deep fry the food a tad bit longer I highly recommend the sushi at this restaurant :).

Used to be amazing but, since it closed and re-opend has not been as good. Love the people and the price is pretty good. is not as apeeling as it used to be. They need to be doing quality checking with customers. I hope it can come back I used to love this place.

Amazing food and amazing prices! We came in a half hour after opening and there were already a few people seated. We had our food just minutes after ordering. We are definitely returning customers. Thanks

The place is located on the second floor, which provides a great view of the water. The cleanliness, is okay. The food is great for the price. The rolls are huge, and taste great! I ordered the French kiss, and it tasted yummy.Great mix of flavour and texture. The takoyaki was alright, it was a little undercook inside.

Mike's Sushi has a great location by Campbell River waterfront. Prices are very reasonable and the food is fresh. My problem is learning the identity of items listed on the menu including what they taste like. I generally love the Japanese spices anyway so no matter what you order it's a rewarding experience. My brother in law ordered a salad that looked like green seaweed noodles with shredded carrots on top. No idea what it was.

I am a very big fan of Miki's take out and lunch specials. They have great rolls at a great price. Their rice actually tastes good, unlike some of the other sushi places in town.

This is a moderate sushi place in town with affordable sushi without all the frills. It has a great view of the harbour and boats downtown and a nice patio in the summertime.

Just okay. The prices are good and the sushi is fine, nothing special though. Great view but the atmosphere is lacking, extremely noisy. When they first opened they were amazing but quality and service has gone down. If more attention was paid to cleanliness and a better floor plan for seating it would be much better.

Staff are treated poorly in front of customers and also food poisoning every time

Everything was delicious and the prices were fantastic. Highly recommend this place.

Great sushi, lovely people

The price here is right but it's always to hit or miss. Service is either terrible or great. Food is either slow or fast. It's too bad because the view is great and the food is good too.

Food looked amazing.... taste, not so much. We even paid for real crab vs. Not real and they put way too much crab and not enough veggies. Maybe that's just me but the fish was SO DRY

The food is always really good, the deck is so nice to sit out and enjoy the sun & scenery but the service is inconsistent. I would recommend this place for their food & location! Parking is very tricky too but is to be expected in this part of town!

Miki's put our order together super fast for us so we could catch a ferry. Everything was fantastic! Popping with freshness we particularly loved the blue crab roll and the negi toro, excellent thank you!!!

Love their lunch box deals! One of my favorite places to go. Best wings, take awhile to get them , but they are worth it. Can get very busy , so call ahead .

Delicious sushi. The sashimi was remarkably good - best I've ever had. All the rolls we had at the table were excellent.

Nothing bad to say about this place. The sushi was fresh and the rest of the Sushi Box I had for lunch was very good, as was the service!! Highly recommended!
